    • I read this year's ago and found myself rereading it. I loved it the first time. But I guess now that I have a little more experience in lesfic I feel I got my rating right. Excellent story. Wish I could give it more stars.

    • My Thoughts:Wallace tells a very convincing story as the struggle with the dangerous climb up the mountain unfolds, I'm not a non-climber, and the treacherous conditions were believable as I continued to read. During the climb of Annapurna the 2 main characters are forced to readdress their lives and situations as the romance between them blossoms. Wallace helps us to understand the characters by including their history, however heart wrenching it turned out to be it helps them to develop as peo [...]

    • I have never been in the position to see if I have what it takes. This book shows you in many different ways you can reach that point and what it takes to move on. Sometimes time is what is required, for another it might be reaching deep down and saying I will not lose. There may be times when you have to just admit to your limits and accept them to move forward. Letting others help. What ever it is this book introduced you to what it may feel like. For me it made me wish I knew and had made it t [...]

    • Yolanda is always on my "read first" list, and this story about women going out and conquering a mountain is just my kind of book. She knows how to write romance, and she knows how to tell a good story. This book is so well researched, it's difficult to believe the author hasn't make a similar mountain climb. This might be my favorite of her titles so far.

    • A great book about mountain, friendship, love and death. I recommend highly this book. One of those books that takes your breathe away.
